Dear Dr. Bar-David:
Thank you so much!!! I don’t know how you did it, but, to have a bunionectomy withOUT pain seems quite remarkable especially when everywhere I turned people would tell me that this would be a worst surgery ever!
Now, I have had the first of two bunionectomies. And even though I had a “monster” bunion (after waiting for so long to fix it), the after surgery and healing and beginnings of rehab have been incredibly PAIN FREE!
That is not to say I have not been entirely comfortable – what with using crutches and a knee walker – those items cause bruising and discomfort in other places where one wouldn’t think – and of course, foot swelling and bruising is not very nice but, believe me when I tell you – I did NOT REQUIRE any pain pills after my surgery nor have I needed any since. I am eager to finish up this last 2 weeks of crutches so I can begin to walk on it again and after the weather starts to turn toward the springtime, I will look forward to having the other foot done and have this entire ordeal over with.
Not only you, but your office staff (at the New York and Riverdale offices ) and your hospital staff were exemplary. I will recommend you and those at the Allen Pavilion and New York Presbyterian Hospital - Columbia, anytime!
Thank you!
